Scarborough Amusement Park

The Scarborough amusement park is located at the end of the Scarborough south bay. The closest place to park near to the Scarborough amusement park would be at the far end of the Marine Drive. The Marine Drive links the Scarborough south bay to the Scarborough north bay.

The Scarborough amusement park is called Luna Park; it is open weekends all year round and every day from Easter to September. You wont be able to spend an entire day at this Scarborough amusement park, as it is only small.

The Luna Scarborough amusement park is good to visit as part of your day. Our kids love visiting the arcades and the Scarborough amusement park.

Luna Amusement Park in Scarborough

Scarborough is in need of a bigger amusement park, the Luna Scarborough amusement park is very small, and the only other amusement park close is Flamingo Land.

Flamingo Land is based in KirMisperton (Malton); it is about 22 miles away from Scarborough and takes about 35-40 minutes to get there car. Flamingo Land is good for the kids, they love looking round the zoo and there are some great rides too, but it is too far out of Scarborough for people to visit if they are in Scarborough for on a short stay.

Their needs to be an alternative to Flamingo Land in Scarborough, the Luna Scarborough amusement park is just too small.

If you are in Scarborough on holiday then a trip to Flamingo Land amusement park is more worthwhile. The Luna Scarborough amusement park is great to visit as part of a day trip to Scarborough. You can fill the rest of the day at the south bay beach or in some of the many arcades along the Scarborough south bay seafront.
