2. Robin Hoods Bay is on our beaches near Scarborough list because it is only a short drive north of Scarborough and is a lovely day out. It’s a great beach to visit for kids and adults; there are some nice walks around the area.

4. Sandsend beach is the next beach along north of Whitby, as a family Sandsend beach is our favourite beach of all the beaches near Scarborough.

5. Runswick Bay beach has to be the most picturesque beach on our beaches near Scarborough list. If you are on holiday in Scarborough then a day trip to Runswick Bay has to be on your agenda.

1. Scarborough beach South Side – this has to be the most fun beach of the beaches on our beaches near Scarborough list. This is the beach where all the amusements are based, the kids will love it.

2. Cayton beach is the next beach south of Scarborough, this beach is a surfing hotspot and has it’s own surf school and shop. Cayton beach is the only one of the beaches near Scarborough that has World War Two Bunkers.

4. Bridlington beach is the last beach south of Scarborough on our beaches near Scarborough list. Bridlington has two beaches like Scarborough, with one of them having lots of amusements to entertain the kids.
